Courage & Sacrifice partnered with Syracuse University and the D’Aniello Institute for Veterans & Military Families for their 2022 Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans (EBV).
The EBV is a first-of-its-kind initiative that turns veterans into entrepreneurs! The EBV program leverages the skills, resources and infrastructure of higher education to offer cutting-edge, experiential training in entrepreneurship and small business management to post-9/11 veterans.
First, veterans participate in a 30 day online, instructor-led class on business fundamentals and research.
Next, these skills are put to the test during a nine day residency at Syracuse University.
At the conclusion of their residency, each veteran pitches their venture to a group of experts. The “Most Outstanding Venture” Winner receives a $10,000 check from Courage & Sacrifice to help seed their new business!
Finally, participating veterans are given 12 months of ongoing support focused on small business creation and growth.
