KEYNOTE SPEAKER | Monty Heath, Navy SEAL
Introduced by Dr. Vincent Ruiz, H-hour LLC

At the 2023 Courage & Sacrifice Golf Outing, we heard from Keynote Speaker Monty Heath, a decorated veteran from Navy SEAL Team 2 and Red Squadron, as well as a former supervisor for the U.S. Navy SEAL mentorship program and BUD/S preparatory program.

At 16, Monty decided to become a Navy SEAL. By 18, he was in BUD/S. After a handful of combat deployments and twice being awarded the Bronze Star with combat valor designation, Monty honorably discharged from the SEAL family — so that he could start one of his own.

Monty then went on to work in the defense contracting industry, where he managed the US Navy’s SEAL mentorship program & SEAL Preparatory program. He was also responsible for creating an anti-terrorism unit in the Sub Sahara region of Africa. Afterward, he managed international security for multi-billionaires.

For the past 9 years Monty has found meaning working in the non-profit Veteran space. And, as of a few years ago, the First Responder community. He works for a non-profit called Guardian Revival, where he provides peer support to those in need.

Monty is serious about fitness. Last year he rode his bike across the country, 3070 miles, in an 8-person non-stop relay race. This year he won a national arm wrestling event. He speaks at events, provides corporate training, has a podcast, and coaches one-on-one.
